“Theremin er et elektronisk musikkinstrument som ble konstruert av den russiske fysikeren Leon Theremin (1896–1993) og første gang demonstrert i 1920. Det var et av de tidligste elektroniske musikkinstrumentene og det første som ble serieprodusert. Instrumentet har blant annet blitt brukt til å skape særegne lydeffekter i filmer.”
